Reception

How do I RSVP for the wedding reception?

Please use this RSVP questionnaire to confirm whether you will be attending. If you are unable to access the link, please contact Sally at 801-917-9435.

Where will the wedding ceremony take place?

The ceremony will be held at the Taylorsville Utah Temple and will be attended by immediate family members and a few close friends (we were only able to reserve the smallest room size!).

Where will the wedding reception take place?

The reception will be held at the Holladay Stake Center at 4568 S Holladay Blvd, Holladay, UT 84117.

When is the wedding?

The ceremony and reception will both take place on Saturday, October 25, 2025. The reception will be held from 2:00–5:00 p.m.

Is there parking available at the reception venue?

Yes, the church parking lot should have more than enough parking spots for everyone.

What is the dress code for the event?

We suggest dressy casual attire but encourage guests to attend regardless of their clothing choices.

Can I bring a plus-one?

Yes, but please include them with your RSVP so that we can better plan how many refreshments to serve.

Where are you registered?

Can I buy a gift that’s on the registry from somewhere other than Amazon?

Yes—Amazon has a spot on each gift where you can click “Did you buy this gift elsewhere?” and indicate the quantity to “Mark as purchased.” If you don’t feel comfortable with accessing Amazon to select this option, please let us know and we can mark it as purchased for you to avoid duplicate gifts.

What are your colors?

The wedding colors are light aqua blue and deep teal with fall accent colors. For gift items, we generally prefer those shades. More broadly, blues rather than reds, or cool tones rather than warm tones.

If there isn’t anything left on the registry that I want to give you, what else would you like?

We would love to build up our collection of games! We have a ton of board games, card games, and party games listed on the registry, and we’d be thrilled to receive any others you might recommend!

Are there any gifts you don’t want or need?

While there are a handful of kitchen gifts we have registered for, please refrain from giving gifts related to cooking and baking that aren’t specifically on the registry. Sally has worked at a cooking store and also sold Tupperware, so we have several lifetimes’ worth of pots, pans, appliances, gadgets, utensils, serving dishes, knives, cookbooks, and most other items we could ever want or need for our kitchen.

Who should I make checks out to?

Please make checks out to “David Work or Sally Steele.” Sally won’t be able to finalize her name change until likely several weeks after the wedding, so any checks partially indicating “Sally Work” will need to wait to be deposited.

What is your Venmo handle?

David’s Venmo is @David-Work-94 (phone number ends in -3685) and Sally’s is @lilyiris (phone number ends in -9435).

Are you saving up for anything that a gift of money would help with?

Indeed! We are saving up to buy a pricey Purple brand bed, and any money received will be put into that fund.
